Ways to Get Involved

1. Sponsor a Child

Become a direct supporter of a child in need of financial support. Your sponsorship covers essential costs like tuition, school supplies, meals, and other necessities, giving a child the resources they need to stay in school and succeed.

2.  Donate to the General Fund

A contribution to our general fund allows us to respond flexibly to urgent needs, support program expansion, and maintain ongoing initiatives. Donations specifically for this project will help us complete construction, furnish the space, and eventually provide technology and internet access. Your support in this project will have a direct and lasting impact on educational access in Busia County.

•  One-time donation: Contribute any amount that helps COCE respond to the most pressing needs at any given moment.

• Monthly Donation: Ensure COCE has consistent support to deliver long-term educational and health services to the children and communities it serves.

• Yearly Donation: Make a larger commitment that sustains COCE's work throughout the year, helping plan and implement bigger projects.

3. Support the Community Library Project

Our community library project is a critical resource for children and families, providing access to books, technology, and a safe place for learning. You can help us complete the library or contribute to its future development by donating towards books, furniture, or infrastructure costs.

4. In-Kind Donations for Future Library Needs

Once the community library is built, we’ll need computers and other technology to create a learning hub. If you work for a company that supplies technology or if you have connections in the industry, consider partnering with us to equip the library with the tools that will help children succeed in the digital age.

5. Corporate Partnerships and Sponsorships

If your organization is interested in a partnership, we’d love to discuss ways to collaborate. Corporate sponsorships help us amplify our programs and reach even more children in need.

6. Become a Volunteer

If you’re looking to get involved beyond donations, COCE welcomes volunteers for local and virtual support. This could include helping with events, providing administrative support, or spreading awareness through social media. Reach out to learn about current opportunities!

We’re always looking for passionate individuals to join our Board of Directors.
