We are so thankful to be able to announce that during this Little X Little campaign we were able to raise nearly $3,000, with an estimated match of $1,100, for a total of $4,100 for the Sijowa Library Project! This brings the project’s overall total to just over $12,000 raised, or roughly 1/3rd of the way towards a fully funded project.

A Reason to be Thankful

We mentioned early in the Little x Little campaign that we wanted to honor the top fundraiser for the campaign, and we are so excited to announce that Ms. Jeongmin Kim raised over $1,000 for the community library in Sijowa. Ms. Kim has been a steadfast partner with COCE over the years and we want to not only share our gratitude for her, but also a little bit of what inspires her to partner with COCE.

Giving Thanks: Nangina School Classrooms and Desk Completion

COCE is very excited to announce the completion of the Nangina School Classroom and Desk project! We cannot believe how much was accomplished over the last seven months! Delivered early last week, the desks were very well received by the children and staff at Nangina Primary School. Little x Little We Are Building a Library

There have been a great many exciting things happening here at the Collective for Orphan Care and Education (COCE) Kenya. Overall, the Little x Little campaign was a huge success and COCE was able to raise over $5,000 with a match of roughly $1,600, for a total of $6,500 for the community library. We are excited to announce preparatory work is planned for later this year.
