Today marks the beginning of another exciting school year for the Collective for Orphan Care and Education’s educational sponsorship students, the majority of whom are entering their second year of high school, otherwise known as form 2.

Read MoreWe are so thankful to be able to announce that during this Little X Little campaign we were able to raise nearly $3,000, with an estimated match of $1,100, for a total of $4,100 for the Sijowa Library Project! This brings the project’s overall total to just over $12,000 raised, or roughly 1/3rd of the way towards a fully funded project.

Ms. Kim has been a steadfast partner with COCE over the years and we want to not only share our gratitude for her, but also a little bit of what inspires her to partner with COCE.
Read MoreCOCE is very excited to announce the completion of the Nangina School Classroom and Desk project! We cannot believe how much was accomplished over the last seven months! Delivered early last week, the desks were very well received by the children and staff at Nangina Primary School. We were fortunate enough to get a couple of clips of the delivery, which you can check out below.
Read MoreCOVID-19 caused some delays in construction, but we are so excited to update you with a video of the desks being built. Initially we had thought to hire just one carpenter to fulfill the order, but as you can see in the clip in the blog, we have managed to hire 4 different local men to complete the project.
